Subject to applicable conditions and exclusions, Eric Javits products are protected from the original date of purchase by a one-year limited warranty (proof of purchase required). If your item proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use anytime within the first year, we will repair or replace the item free of charge with the same or comparable product.
Depending on how involved your repair is, please allow up to 60 days from receipt of your item in our warehouse to your getting it back. We stock many components however, if hardware or material needs to be ordered in order to complete your repair, a longer window of time may be necessary. We will advise you of this.
Items not under warranty: after we receive your inquiry we will advise you of the cost to repair your item. Please note: NYS Sales Tax is always applicable on all repair work since the repair is a service performed in the State of New York. In addition, freight charges will be assessed and quoted depending on how you would like your repair shipped (ground, overnight or 2nd day) back to you. All repairs must be paid in advance prior to any work commencing.

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover damages arising from dye transference, accidents or misuse, or from any alteration, service or repair performed by any other party other than Eric Javits Inc. The care with which you use and look after your Eric Javits design will preserve its condition and beauty.
Eric Javits Inc. does not offer a guarantee or repair service on merchandise purchased from an off-priced or unauthorized retailer.

In order to process your repair request we require the following:
- A copy of the proof of purchase (original receipt, pack slip, or credit card statement)
- The style number (can be found on the white tag which accompanied the product)
- Photo of the item clearly showing the problem
